Down Shot System

DOWN SHOT™, OFFSET HOOK

With it's eye in the "down" position, it is ideal for the down shot fishing system, as it's engineered to ride perfectly horizontal when tied into a line that is to be fished straight up and down. Use a palomar knot and pull the tag end of the line up, and over through the hook's eye one additional time before attaching sinker. Rig any kind of soft plastic bait and use as a deadly presentation for suspended game fish. Light wire, forged and includes a 90 degree shoulder bend, Cutting Point® and black chrome finish. Now available in Pro Packs through all sizes.

MOSQUITO™ HOOK

Fast becoming a favorite when using the down shot system for bass, walleye and panfish. For light line use, it is self-setting and the perfect hook for windy conditions or turbulent water where it is difficult to keep a tight line. Ideal for rigging small live baits, for nose-hooking soft plastics, and for wacky wormin' (hooking through middle of the worm and letting the ends dangle equally). Features include a black chrome finish and a fine-wire forged shank with offset Super needle Point. Available for the first time in red color and Pro Packs.

DOWNSHOT™ SINKERS

Small and light weight, these bell-shaped sinkers are just right for use with the Down Shot System. The unique eye "pinches" on the tag end of your line - making the sinker quick to rig and adjust - and, should you hang up on the bottom (while hooked to a fish or otherwise), the eye allows you to pull back and quick-release from the snagged sinker with ease. If you decide that you want your bait suspending 3 feet off the bottom instead of 2 feet, reeling in your line will take longer than adjusting the rig.
